<p>A suspension system for use in a vehicle 10 incorporating a noise suppressor is provided. The suspension system comprises pneumatic springs (not shown) for adjusting the ride height of the vehicle 10. The pneumatic springs are coupled to a compressor 14 for compressing air to actuate the pneumatic springs. The pneumatic springs are coupled to an output of the compressor by a conduit 24, 26, 28, 30, 32, 34, 36 which transfers the compressed air. The conduit forms a pressurised fluid path between the compressor and the pneumatic spring. The system comprises a noise suppressor 22 for reducing acoustic noise which is radiated from the conduit; the noise suppressor 22 is disposed in the pressurised path.</p> |
