<p>According to the present invention, a safety device of a blind cord comprises: a foldable member having a hollow part to house the blind cord, and capable of being folded up and down; a stopper tube connected to the foldable member, having a stopper member selectively blocking the movement of the blind cord, and shaped into a cylinder housing the blind cord therein; a supporting plate mounted on the outer circumferential surface of the stopper tube; a rotating plate rotating at the supporting plate; and a latch bent into a C-shape, having one side having an opening and connected to a portion adjacent to the outer surface of the rotating plate, having the other side closed and positioned in the stopper tube, and rotated by the rotation of the rotating plate. Therefore, the safety device according to the present invention is capable of shielding the blind cord to be housed in the foldable member. In particular, the safety device according to the present invention is capable of being easily installed even on an existing blind cord. Furthermore, the safety device according to the present invention is capable of preventing the descending of the blind cord by the stopper member even if a child or a baby pulls the blind cord down.</p> |
