<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultraviolet flaw detection lamp improving a flaw detection accuracy by increasing a lamp current for just a short time when importing an image and enhancing the intensity of ultraviolet light. <P>SOLUTION: An ultraviolet flaw detection lamp 8 for use in a fluorescent flaw detection test, applies ultraviolet light to the surface part of a test object 2 on which fluorescent materials are sprayed, and detects a flaw on the surface part with a camera 9. The ultraviolet flaw detection lamp includes a discharge tube 22 stored in a lamp fitting 11, a stabilizer 24 for lighting the discharge tube 22, and pulse power control means 25 comprising a rectifier 26 and a capacitor 27. The pulse power control means 25 superimposes a pulse current stored in the capacitor 27, on the discharge tube 22 driven by a power lower than the rating to instantaneously and intermittently generate high-intensity ultraviolet light. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
