<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable immediate connection of a communication device, a transmission source device, to an opposite communication party when the opposite communication party is restored to a communicable state with the transmission source communication device, to perform data communication through a network more efficiently than the conventional communication device. <P>SOLUTION: On receipt of tentative execution impossibility information from a multifunctional device 7 of the opposite communication party (YES in S4), a network controller 104 stands by until the lapse of a timeout time set in a timeout manager 106, without transmitting a connection request again to the multifunctional device 7, the opposite communication party (S8 to S10). If state update information indicative of becoming a state enabling connection processing is received from the multifunctional device 7 of the opposite communication party before the lapse of the timeout time (No in S10, YES in S9), the network controller 104 retransmits a connection request to the multifunctional device 7 of the opposite communication party (S12). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
