<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner capable of preventing mist from being rarefied and controlling the direction of discharge of mist. <P>SOLUTION: The air cleaner 1 includes a filter 9 for cleaning sucked air, and an electrostatic atomizer 22a for generating mist. The air cleaner 1 also includes a first blowing means 13 for discharging air cleaned by the filter 9 to outside from a first outlet 12 disposed in a body casing 2 of the air cleaner 1, and a second blowing means 22b for discharging air including the mist generated in the electrostatic atomizer 22a to outside from a second outlet 23 opened in a direction different from the first outlet 12.
