<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evolved solution for coexistence of heterogeneous cognitive radio systems, thereby making more efficient spectrum utilization. <P>SOLUTION: The method includes: detecting in the vicinity another cognitive radio system operating in white space frequency bands, with which a cognitive radio system should coexist; acquiring information needed for the coexistence with the cognitive radio system operating in white space frequency bands; making a determination for the coexistence on the basis of the information; and requesting that the cognitive radio system operating in white space frequency bands is reconfigured according to the determination. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
