<p>The brake device (1) comprises a track element (2) having a first side wall (4) and a second side wall (5) opposed to each other, a bottom wall (6) and a top wall (7) with a longitudinal groove (9), and a slider (10) guided in the track element. A rotatable actuation rod (14) has a non-circular cross-section so that in a first angular position the slider is free to slide and in a second angular position the actuation rod (14) presses the slider against the first side wall. A stay element (11) pivotally connected to the slider extends parallel with a line through the bottom wall and top wall, and the slider has opposed guiding contact faces (16) formed by a relatively soft material adapted to slide along the bottom wall and top wall, respectively. The slider has a brake block (17) formed by metal and is adapted to abut the first or the second side wall of the metal profile.</p> |
