<p>The unit which is opt. removable consists of two refrigeration circuits and one heating circuit, the two refrigeration circuits having in common a condenser which serves to reliquify the refrigerant evaporated in mould cooling and to diminish the relative humidity of the air escaping from the atmospheric cooling circuit of the plasticiser, its screw and the power circuit. The condenser may be placed between the nozzles and the fan of the atmospheric cooling system, downstream from the fan. The refrigeration circuit of the plasticiser and screw consists of a pump which conveys refrigerated water from the tank to the apparatus, then through a first multi-tubular refrigerator and finally the system of air cooling before returning to the tank. The circuits may be combined with a reheating circuit. Accurate control of heating and cooling in machines for moulding and treatment of thermoplastic and thermosetting moulding materials is provided.</p> |
