The present invention relates to a hinge to open/close a manhole cover having an opening to allow an introduction/withdrawal of equipment through a sewer pipe path or access of a person. The hinge for a manhole cover comprises: a cover frame which is mounted on the opening and includes a frame recess unit having one side recessed; a cover which is formed to open/close the cover frame and includes a cut cover mounting unit; and a hinge which has one side mounted on the frame recess unit and the other side connected to the cover mounting unit by bolts, and is rotated to open/close the cover, wherein the hinge includes: a fixed body having a recessed hinge mounting unit formed on the upper side thereof; a connection hinge which is connected to the fixed body by the hinge to be mounted; and a rotation hinge which is fixed by the bolts to open/close the cover while being rotated. Therefore, the hinge for a manhole cover is not affected at all by movement of pedestrians or vehicles with the hinge installed horizontally to the surfaces of the cover and the cover frame, can easily open the cover by rotating the hinge according to the use when the cover is opened, can prevent, in advance, difficulties of opening/closing the cover due to foreign materials firmed by pass of the pedestrians or the vehicles with an insertion bar to block the foreign materials from being introduced while adjusting an internal rotation radius of the hinge, and can provide convenience in use by fastening a cylindrical structure fastening unit having screws to the inside of the hinge to install various types of instruments. |
