<p>The present invention aims to provide a storage container for biological resources which includes an indicator substance that can provide temperature information of conditions for producing, processing, and storing biological resources such as DNA, RNA, blood, blood plasma, blood serum, and urine. The storage container includes: a body part which contains the biological resources; a stopper part which is joined with the body part and isolates the biological resources from external environment; and a sensor part which is joined with the body part and senses the temperature of the biological resources contained in the body part. The indicator substance, which irreversibly changes at a certain temperature, is contained in the sensor part. The biological resources contained in the body part and the indicator substance contained in the sensor part are thermally connected to each other by a thermal conductivity channel. According to the present invention, time during which the biological resources are exposed at a certain temperature or higher for processes of producing, processing, and storing the biological resources can be estimated. Therefore, a user can evaluate the quality of a relevant biological resource, for example, checking whether the relevant biological resource is deteriorated or not, by using the storage container. Moreover, a user can select and use biological resources which have similar quality information when performing research.</p> |
