<p>Provided are an RF signal receiving apparatus and a control method thereof to prevent deterioration of quality of broadcasting signals caused by signal interference from communication signals. The RF signal receiving apparatus according to the present invention comprises: a power bifurcation unit, a reception unit for communications which selectively receive a communication signal by a switching action depending on whether the communication signal is included in a bifurcated RF signal; a reception unit for broadcasting signals which amplifies the RF signal depending on whether the communication signal is included in the bifurcated RF signal, and receives a broadcasting signal by filtering the communication signal from the RF signal according to reception quality of the broadcasting signal; and a control unit which determines whether the communication signal is included in the bifurcated RF signal to control the switching action and whether or not to amplify the RF signal, and assesses the reception quality of the broadcasting signal to control filtering of the communication signal.</p> |
