PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a down-wind type windmill storing a transformer in a support post or a nacelle.SOLUTION: A down-wind type windmill is characterized: by comprising a nacelle 3 for supporting a rotor 1 and housing an electric generator 9 therein; a support post 4 for supporting the nacelle 3, and a main transformer 5 arranged between the electric generator 9 and an electric power system 8; and in that the main transformer 5 is housed in the nacelle 3 or the support post 4. |
