<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the location and behavior of a target not only when the target is located in a detection range of a fixed camera but also when the target is located outside the detection range of the fixed camera. <P>SOLUTION: A management device uses a fixed camera A to detect appearance information of the target, and refines the target on the basis of the detected appearance information. The management device also uses detection results of appearance information by the fixed camera A and a fixed camera B to detect an abnormal condition of the target. Then, the management device, upon detecting the abnormal condition of the target, moves a mobile robot to non-detection ranges of the fixed camera A and the fixed camera B, and identifies the target on the basis of face information detected by using the mobile robot. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
