<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an air filter cleaning device allowing an air filter to be easily removed from and installed to an indoor unit body and capable of suppressing increase of air-passage resistance in an air passage. <P>SOLUTION: The air filter cleaning device 100 has a casing-side frame body 10 installed to a casing 2, a drawing-side frame body 20 freely removably mounted to the frame body 10, and a dust removing part 30 and a dust collecting chamber 40 installed to the frame body 20. The drawing-side frame body 20 is installed with a filter driving shaft 34 and an air filter winding shaft 24 rotating in tandem with the filter driving shaft 34. An air filter driving pinion 23f fixed to the filter driving shaft 34 engages with a filter driven rack 53f formed on the air filter 50. The air filter 50 is delivered by rotation of the filter driving shaft 34, and dust is removed from the air filter by oscillation of a dust removing brush 34 of the dust removing part 30 contacting the filter.
