A lighting apparatus connected to a network and a method for controlling a lighting apparatus are disclosed. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a lighting apparatus includes a light source unit provided with at least one light source; a controller configured to drive the light source unit in response to an external control signal; a non-contact sensor configured to detect a non-contact signal to generate a reset signal; and a communication unit configured to connect the lighting apparatus to a wireless network to receive the external control signal from an external apparatus, and to disconnect the lighting apparatus from the wireless network in response to the reset signal. By embedding the non-contact sensor in the lighting apparatus, the lighting apparatus may be controlled without a touch thereon. |
