<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrically conductive needle-like antimony tin oxide fine powder which has a high conductivity, is suppressed in the lowering of conductivity in an alkaline atmosphere, and is used for forming a coating film having a lowered surface resistivity, a heightened total light transmission, and a lowered haze value. <P>SOLUTION: The electrically conductive needle-like antimony tin oxide fine power contains germanium and has a short axis average particle size of 5-100 nm and an aspect ratio of 5 or more.
