<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that forms an image by sequentially overlapping respective toner images formed on a plurality of photoreceptor drums onto an intermediate transfer belt, while providing toner recovery containers dedicated for respective photoreceptor drums with reduced number of voltage power supplies. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes a plurality of cleaning members that are electrically conductive to an intermediate transfer belt, and secondary transfer means that supplies current in a circumferential direction of the intermediate transfer belt. The flow of the current allows toner images to be primary-transferred to the intermediate transfer belt in a plurality of primary transfer parts, and causes the potential of the cleaning members to have the same polarity as the intermediate transfer belt. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
