The telescopic lifting column has three pillar sections (4-6), in which at least two pillar sections are relatively movable in the longitudinal direction. A first rotary spindle nut is rotatably secured on a first spindle, and a second rotary spindle nut is rotatably secured on a second spindle. The spindle nuts are designed as multi-piece spindle nut or as a two-piece spindle nut, and the outer contour is in indirect operative connection with one of the pillar sections for rotationally securing the spindle nuts.
