Monolithic or laminated window, in particular for a motor vehicle, incorporates a luminous element made up of light emitting diodes (LED) (8). In particular, the luminous element is made up of an envelope for an assembly of chips constituting the LEDs. The LEDs are included in a connection circuit consisting of a conducting layer (6a, 6b) deposited on the transparent substrate (2) with different zones separated by fine insulating bands (4). The bands are produced by a laser or by masking or silk screen printing. |
