[Also in Division A4] A releasable plastics band clamp, e.g. for securing a conduit on a wall, comprises a flexible band 15, the tail end of which carries a series of ratchet teeth 16A, 16B which engage corresponding teeth 25A, 25B at the head end of the strap, guides 18A, 18B and 23A, 23B, interfitting to prevent lateral disengagement of the teeth but which may be forcibly disengaged to release the clamp without damaging it. The base 10 may be screwed to a base. Additional teeth 27, 28 may also be used. |
