<p>The present invention relates to an automatic headlight controlling device for a vehicle and, more specifically, to an automatic headlight controlling device using two illumination sensors determining whether the vehicle enters a tunnel or a driver drives the vehicle on a road where illumination changes according to different illumination sensed by the illumination sensors having different measurement ranges and being operated while operating headlights after different automatic operation delay periods according to whether the vehicle enters a tunnel or the driver drives the vehicle on a road where illumination changes and to a method for the same. The present invention obtains effects of preventing malfunctions in the headlights and a headlight driving circuit by discriminating between a tunnel and a road where illumination changes using the illumination sensors measuring the amount of lights in different bands and preventing inconvenience to the driver by quickly turning on the headlights inside a tunnel and frequently turning on and off the headlights on the road where illumination changes by operating the headlights after the different automatic operation delay periods according to the determined results.</p> |
