1. A liquid ejecting apparatus comprising:
a liquid ejecting head which includes nozzles which eject liquid, a pressure chamber which communicates with the nozzles, and a pressure generation unit which generates pressure fluctuation in liquid in the pressure chamber, and which ejects liquid from the nozzles by driving of the pressure generation unit; and a driving signal generation unit which generates a minute vibration driving signal including a minute vibration waveform which is applied to the pressure generation unit to drive the pressure generation unit, and to generate pressure fluctuation in the liquid in the pressure chamber to a degree of not ejecting liquid from the nozzles, wherein the minute vibration driving signal includes a first signal section which generates a plurality of minute vibration waveforms, and a second signal section which maintains potential to a constant level, wherein the liquid ejecting apparatus has a first mode in which duration of the second signal section is set to a first time longer than duration of the first signal section, and a second mode in which the duration of the second signal section is set to a second time longer than the first time; wherein a minute vibration operation is executed by the minute vibration driving signal in the first mode, after applying power to the liquid ejecting apparatus; and wherein a minute vibration operation is executed by the minute vibration driving signal in the second mode, after the minute vibration operation is executed in the first mode. |
