a. determining a spinning reserve margin for an online electric power grid served by one or more non-wind power generators; b. determining at least one atmospheric or environmental factor influencing wind generation capability for a region associated with the online electric power grid; c. determining, based on the at least one atmospheric or environmental factor, near term wind generation capability of a wind power generation system connected to the online electric power grid; d. determining a power grid spinning reserve forecast requirement; and e. providing instructions to adjust power generation of the one or more non-wind power generators based on the near term wind generation capability, the spinning reserve margin, and/or the power grid spinning reserve forecast requirement. |
