[Also in Division C2] Herbicidal compositions comprise a compound of the formula: where one of R and R<SP>1</SP> is methyl, the other is C 2-4 alkyl and X is hydrogen; or R is C 2-4 alkyl and R<SP>1</SP> and X are hydrogen; or R is C 2-4 alkenyl, R<SP>1</SP> is hydrogen, and X is hydrogen or chlorine; the group R<SP>1</SP> being in the 4- or 5- position, in association with an inert diluent. The compositions may be formulated as granules, powders or solutions. Conventional additives may be present, and the compositions are particularly useful against grasses and broad-leafed weeds. |
