<p>Disclosed is a method to determine an optimum bandwidth. The method to determine the optimum bandwidth relates to a method to determine the optimum bandwidth of a terminal in an AP controller in a WLAN system for each bandwidth usable in the WLAN system, and includes the steps of: calculating a gain which is a transmission ratio to be obtained by a terminal; calculating opportunity costs based on a transmission overlapping range between a first AP, which the terminal is connected to, and APs included in the WLAN system, and a maximum transmission ratio among the transmission ratios of the terminals which are connected to each AP respectively; calculating utility using the gain and the opportunity costs; and determining the bandwidth corresponding to the largest utility value among the usable bandwidths as the optimum bandwidth.</p> |
