<p>A digital image processing apparatus and a control method thereof are provided to regenerate a picture file fitting for the display screen of the digital image processing apparatus by rotating or trimming in photographing a bar code. A digital image processing apparatus comprises a display unit(113), a user input unit(121), a photographing unit(123), an image processing unit(125), a storage unit(127), and a digital signal processor(129).
