<p>PURPOSE: A tool magazine of a machine tool is provided to enable use without regulating the tension of a loosened chain because a tool exchange position is set on one side of a driving sprocket. CONSTITUTION: A tool magazine of a machine tool comprises a chain(150), a gripper(160), a drive unit(110), a driving sprocket(120), a chain guide wheel(130), and a tool transfer apparatus(50). The chain comprises a link and a chain bush(152). The gripper is installed on a side of the chain and receives a tool(60). The driving sprocket is rotated forward or reversely with the drive unit. A groove(122) and a tool groove(124) are alternately formed on the exterior of the driving sprocket. A tool is accepted in the tool groove so that the driving sprocket drives the chain, avoiding interference with the tool. The chain guide wheel contacts the interior of the chain and guides the chain. The tool transfer apparatus draws the tool in and out of the gripper.</p> |
