In one aspect, the method includes receiving a request to temporarily store session information for a web browsing session comprising at least one request to view a web page. The method also includes compressing data for the session information associated with the web browsing session, and storing the compressed data for the session information associated with the web browsing session only in a volatile memory. The compressed data for the session information stored in the volatile memory is lost when power to the volatile memory is off. A reference to the compressed data for the session information in the volatile memory is removed when the web browsing session is terminated. | ||
