<p>A display device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to suppress corrosion of metal wiring and improve reliability. A display device comprises a drive panel. In the drive panel, a display unit consisting of a circuit part, a coating layer(13) and a plurality of indicating devices in the drive substrate(11) is successively installed. The drive panel comprises a junction area(10A), a terminal region(10B). The junction area includes the circuit part, the coating layer and display unit and the bonding layer is placed in interval in the junction area and the sealing panel is welded in the junction area. The terminal region comes from the sealing panel and bonding layer. A plurality of metal wirings(51) electrically connected to the circuit part of the junction area is extended to the terminal region and is installed. The coating layer comprises one place which is a separated domain between a plurality of metal wirings in the junction area. The end circumference of the domain exceeds the junction area and reaches the terminal region in the separated domain of the coating layer. The separated domain of the coating layer is formed in order not to reach to the end circumference at the terminal region.</p> |
