Positive Electrode Material for Lithium-Ion Batteries and Lithium-Ion Battery Having the Same

摘要

The present invention aims to provide a positive electrode material for a lithium secondary battery that has a reduced amount of a lithium compound remaining on the surface and can inhibit surface degradation caused by reaction with electrolyte; and a lithium secondary battery including the same. The positive electrode material for a lithium secondary battery includes a positive electrode active material which is a lithium-transition metal oxide; and a phosphate lithium layer coated on the surface of the positive electrode active material. The positive electrode active material is the lithium-transition metal oxide and in the shape of a particle.
