The present invention relates to a fish trap connected to the end of the fishing line of a fishing rod to capture fish. The fish trap connected to the end of a fishing line joined to a fishing rod to catch fish comprises: a main body of the fish trap having a space formed by a skeleton-supporting frame and having an entrance configured at an upper part to open and close according to the state of an entrance opening and closing string, which is an entrance for fish to enter; a pulling string including a connection part connected to the end of the fishing line, a first position formed outside the main body of the fish trap below the connection part and branching and connected to the entrance opening and closing string, and a second position formed inside the main body of the fish trap below the first position and having a sinker connected thereto; and an entrance openness maintaining means formed near the first position of the pulling string to maintain the openness of the entrance by maintaining the first position near the entrance even when the fishing line is pulled from the main body of the fish trap to throw the main body of the fish trap into water. The entrance openness maintaining means is released automatically and the entrance is closed when a fisherman confirms that fish have come into the main body of the fish trap through the entrance, and raises the fishing rod. |
