<p>A three-dimensional shape acquiring method according to the present invention is a method in which a three-dimensional shape acquiring apparatus acquires a three-dimensional shape of an object. The method comprises: capturing a color image and a depth image for the object using a sensor; estimating an overall lighting from the color image and the depth image; estimating a spatially varying local lighting by using the estimated overall lighting; and estimating a surface normal from the estimated local lighting to acquire a three-dimensional shape for the object.</p> |
