<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for reducing failures of a relay caused by arc.SOLUTION: A relay comprises: first and second fixed terminals facing a first direction each of which has a fixed contact part with a fixed contact, and a body part extending along the first direction from the fixed contact part; a movable contact piece which has two movable contacts facing the first and second fixed terminals in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction and corresponding to each of the fixed contacts; a drive mechanism; and a housing which houses the fixed contacts and the movable contact piece. The relay further comprises a magnet which generates magnetic flux along the first direction, in a region where the fixed contacts and the movable contacts are located, the region corresponding to the fixed contacts.</p> |
