<p>The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for voice recognition of multilingual vocabulary. The apparatus for the voice recognition of the multilingual vocabulary comprises: an input unit which converts an inputted voice into a sound wave to digitize the voice; a multilingual syllable sound source storage unit which expresses a syllable as a hangul-based expression system to store the hangul-based syllable; a syllable conversion unit which searches the voice information digitized in the input unit in the multilingual syllable sound source storage unit to reconstruct the searched voice information to matched syllable information; a multilingual vocabulary and short sentence storage unit which transcribes vocabularies and short sentences having the same meaning as spelling of a plurality of selected languages and the hangul-based expression system to summarize the transcribed vocabularies and short sentences in lexicographical order; a search unit which searches the syllable information reconstructed in the syllable conversion unit in the multilingual vocabulary and short sentence storage unit; and an output unit which outputs the vocabularies and short sentences searched in the multilingual vocabulary and short sentence storage unit.</p> |
