<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device which enables a user to operate the device when face authentication of the user is successfully performed, and also inhibits itself from continuously performing the face authentication of the user.SOLUTION: An image processing device 10 comprises: a first imaging unit 192 which detects a user; and a second imaging unit 193 which captures a face image of the user for face authentication. For face authentication, a control unit of the image processing device 10 turns on the second imaging unit 193 and activates an image processing unit for performing face authentication, and for ID and password authentication, the control unit maintains the turned-on state of the second imaging unit 193 and deactivates the image processing unit for performing face authentication. The control unit enables the operation based on the authentication and does not perform the authentication processing based on the face authentication.</p> |
