The present invention is to provide a yeast cell with improved lactate production ability, and a method for producing lactate using the same. More specifically, provided is a yeast cell which has improved activity of lactate dehydrogenase which converts pyruvate into lactate and includes an introduced gene coding the lactate dehydrogenase. In addition, provided is the method for producing lactate using the yeast cell. |
