<p>The present invention refers to the method for manufacturing multipurpose briquettes with the purpose of increasing the quality level for refining liquid steel in the steel industry and increasing the marginal contribution of the produced steel. These briquettes are formed by a composite of metallic matrix manufactured in a solid state with a matrix of aluminum combined with ceramic or metallic materials for forming different applications illustrated with examples in the steel refinement and which are represented in the formation of different geometric figures as cylinders, truncated cones, spheres, ellipsoids, small cushions, etc., at pressures of up to 68.94 MPa (10,000 lb/pulg2) with different weights.</p> |
