<p>The present invention relates to a virtual color overlay performing method for relieving visual stress and to a display device thereof and, more specifically, to a method for performing a virtual color overlay in a computer and a mobile IT device based on optical characteristics data of a film overlay experimentally obtained to relieve the visual stress of a person suffering a photosensitivity syndrome and to a display device in which the virtual color overlay is performed by the method. The virtual color overlay performing method for relieving visual stress according to the present invention includes the steps of: measuring optical characteristics in an actual film overlay and calculating an sRGB value by using the optical characteristics; measuring the transparency (alpha value) of a virtual color overlay on an ideal white screen by using the sRGB value and the measured optical characteristics; calculating the original color of the virtual color overlay by using the alpha blending algorithm of a computer; and finding and selecting a combination of an RGB value and an alpha value satisfying the original color of the virtual color overlay capable of being performed in the display device.</p> |
