PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease communication interruption and delay easily while facilitating packaging in a power saving operation based on reducing the number of optical subscriber units (OSUs) to be operated.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to an optical line terminal (OLT) 91 in an optical subscriber system in which a plurality of optical network units (ONUs) 92 and a single OLT 91 are connected by a passive optical network (PON) topology and a dynamic wavelength band allocation circuit 13 is provided for allocating a communication wavelength for communicating with the OLT 91 to the ONU 92 in response to a request from the ONU 92. The dynamic wavelength band allocation circuit 13 includes a sleep wavelength determination part for determining use stop wavelength to stop use from among usable wavelengths being used as communication wavelengths in given timing, and a wavelength switching part for switching a subscriber device using the use stop wavelength to any usable wavelength that is different from the use stop wavelength. In timing of switching due to the wavelength switching part, a transceiver of the use stop wavelength determined by the sleep wavelength determination part is shifted to a sleep state. |
