PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal head which has a small margin of error in resistance measurement at the time of pulse trimming and has excellent coloring efficiency.SOLUTION: A thermal head includes: a common electrode which is formed on an insulating substrate and has a plurality of first extension parts extending in a sub-scanning direction; a plurality of individual electrodes which are formed on the insulating substrate and have a plurality of second extension parts extending in the sub-scanning direction and alternately facing the plurality of first extension parts; and a heat generator which is formed in a belt shape in upper layers of the plurality of first extension parts and the plurality of second extension parts. The plurality of first extension parts are formed so that their both ends are exposed from a region of the heat generator, and the plurality of second extension parts are formed so that their tips are accommodated in the region of the heat generator. |
