Provided are a camera image verifying apparatus and a verifying method thereof. The camera image verifying apparatus includes: a vehicle driving simulator which interprets the movement of a vehicle; a virtual reality processor which processes vehicle driving simulation data by receiving the vehicle driving simulation data which changes according to the driver operation information of the vehicle driving simulator; an emulator which emulates a current virtual image generated by the virtual reality processor by processing the generated current virtual image into digital data; and a camera control unit which recognizes the current virtual image by receiving the digital data processed by the emulator and verifies an error of the current virtual image by comparing the image with a preset reference virtual image.
