PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus for performing appropriate color correction when performing trapping-processing.SOLUTION: Based on print data constituted by plural pieces of image data received at a reception part 201, an attribute information determination part 203 determines, for each piece of data, whether trapping-attribute information is attached. A color correction part 204 applies color correction to image data that has been determined to be attached with the trapping attribute information. A trapping-processing part 205 applies trapping processing to image data to which color correction has been applied. A tag information attachment part 206 attaches tag information containing information indicating whether color correction is applied, to each piece of image data. An intermediate data generation part 207 generates intermediate data on the basis of print data containing the image data to which the trapping processing is applied. A rasterizer 19 draws an image of the image data on the basis of the intermediate data and outputs the image on a sheet using an output part 209. |
