PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound field gathering/reproducing device, method and program for gathering/reproducing sound fields with high accuracy while using general microphones/loudspeakers.SOLUTION: Microphones 1-1 to 1-M disposed in a space at a sound gathering side generate signals of time domains by gathering sounds generated from a sound source in a space at the sound gathering side and these signals are sent to a frequency conversion part 111. In a sound source position detection part 101, a sound source position of a speaker or the like is detected, inputted to a filter calculation part 103 and sent to a conversion filter part 113. While using a filter that realizes a wave front from a position of a virtual sound source at a control point, the conversion filter part applies filter calculation part output to a frequency domain signal Pi(ω) and generates a filtered signal Dp(ω) and this signal is sent to a frequency conversion part 115, transformed into a time domain signal dp(t) by inverse Fourier transformation and reproduced by a plurality of loudspeakers 2-1 to 2-L which are disposed at a back side of the control point in a direction of travel of the wave front.
