<p>Disclosed in the present invention is a method to evaluate the occurrence of cracks on a cast-piece using friction. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method to evaluate the occurrence of cracks on a cast-piece using friction measures the friction generated between a mold and a solidified shell by a cast-piece unit at preset time intervals; calculates an average value (C) of the measured friction; and evaluates the occurrence of the cracks on the cast-piece using a crack occurrence potential index (P) defined as the following math formula: [Math Formula] Here, ABS indicates an absolute value, a indicates a constant value according to the width of a cast-piece, A indicates a middle value of friction of the cast-piece where cracks collected in a constant molding condition do not occur, and B indicates a standard deviation value of the cast-piece where cracks collected in a constant molding condition do not occur.</p> |
