PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the strength and leak resistance of a hydrogen production apparatus.SOLUTION: The hydrogen production apparatus 100 provided by an embodiment includes a fuel supply-side cell 10, a hydrogen supply-side cell 20, and an intercellular connection unit 40 for connecting both cells. Each of the fuel supply-side cell 10 and hydrogen supply-side cell 20 includes a diaphragm, a hydrogen electrode, an oxygen electrode, a porous body, and a cell container 10a or 20a. The fuel supply-side cell 10 and hydrogen supply-side cell 20 are arranged in parallel to one another in a state where the respective directions from fuel reception inlets to hydrogen streaming outlets are mutually opposite. The fuel supply-side cell 10, hydrogen supply-side cell 20, and intercellular connection unit 40 are flexible so as to be able to alleviate the load impressed onto the connection unit owing to heat elongation. |
