PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable maintenance work to be lightened or the frequency of maintenance work to be reduced.SOLUTION: A temporary reservation unit 15 is fitted with a banknote guidance unit 32 in a section where a rear side face 21B and a ceiling face 21C of an inner space 21S are joined together. The temporary reservation unit 15 is thereby enhanced in its capability of sliding, along with a rise of a stage 23 in a sending-out process, the top edge of a remaining banknote BLR gotten into a gap between the rear side face 21B of the inner space 21S and an accumulated banknote BL forward, causing said top edge to reach a position at which detection light L1 of a remainder detection unit 41 is blocked, and detecting the presence thereof, or capability of causing the same to reach the position of a picker roller 30 located forward of said position and the remaining banknote to be sent out normally. |
