<p>An object detection device comprises: a detection unit for acquiring the external environment, as an image, including at least one object in a predetermined direction in a predetermined position; a reference table including digital terrain data of the external environment and reference size information of the object corresponding to the distance to the detection unit; and a controller which calculates a distance to the object from the detection unit based on the reference table, the position and direction, and processes the object as a clutter if a difference between the size of the object and the corresponding reference size is greater than a predetermined range. Accordingly, the object detection device can acquire an image of an object except the clutter, thereby can more accurately detect the object.</p> |
