<p>A method and apparatus is disclosed that transmits and receives downlink physical control channels in a wireless communication system. The method for transmitting downlink physical control channels of a sub-frame using a multi-carrier includes generating a primary carrier and sub-carriers, and transmitting the sub-frame. The primary carrier of the sub-frame contains packet data control channel (PDCCH) of all carriers. The sub-carrier of the sub-frame contains physical control format indicator channel (PCFICH) having a channel allocation indicator (L) indicating that the downlink shared channel (PDCCH) is not transmitted.</p> |
