PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling a master system and a slave system on the basis of the result of monitoring by making a central processing unit monitor an external interface device dually composed of the master system and the slave system.SOLUTION: An external interface device control system includes: an input/output part which transmits/receives data between central processing units 11a and 11b and external interface devices 21a-21f comprising a dual system; and a processing part which determines a state of the external interface device on the basis of system information indicating a master/slave system of the external interface device included in the data, and life/death information indicating normality/abnormality of the external interface device, and which switches the state of the external interface device depending on the result of determination. |
