<p>The present invention relates to a composition containing a Morus alba L. extract as an active ingredient. Specifically, it has been verified that the Morus alba L. extract shows a defensive effect against a pathogenic microbe, a protective effect on the survival rate of an animal model in which salmonella infection is induced, and an antimicrobial effect in an animal model in which salmonella infection is induced. Accordingly, the Morus alba L. extract is useful as an ingredient of a food, a medicine and a feed which have effects against infectious diseases caused by pathogenic microbes.</p> |
